Společně nasbírat zkušenosti v oblasti podpory komunit, rovnosti a budování kapacit. Takový byl cíl mezinárodní akce, která se v polovině února odehrála v rámci projektu ComPARE: Communities promoting anti racism and equality v Berlíně. Několikadenní vzdělávací program připravila ve spolupráci s NESEHNUTÍ tamní organizace Über den Tellerrand.
Společně jsme se ponořily*i do témat, která jsou klíčová (nejen) pro získání dostatečných kapacit na práci při budování komunit příchozích. Cílily*i jsme na efektivní oslovení cílových skupin, využití síly networkingu, podporu kreativity při budování komunit nebo na reálnou implementaci strategií sociálního začleňování. V závěru jsme společně připravily*i reálné kroky a strategie.
Vedle sdílení znalostí a získávání nových dovedností vnímáme jako zásadní také posílení mezinárodní spolupráce mezi německými a českými organizacemi, které pracují s příchozími a usilují o vytváření a posilování komunit, které budou mít pozitivní dopad na všechny zúčastněné. Akce nám dodala čerstvou motivaci dál budovat otevřené a rovné komunity a podporovat nejen v jejich rámci antirasismus, rovnost a inkluzivní vzdělávací postupy.
Od berlínské partnerské organizace jsme se úspěšně inspirovali už v minulosti. Právě díky jejich nápadu v Brně dlouhodobě funguje naše populární Kulinárna, kde se příchozí potkávají s místními a společně připravují veganská jídla z různých koutů světa. Komunitní vaření se tak samozřejmě propsalo i do této akce.

How to build communities of newcomers? Insights from the international training in Berlin
Together to gather experience in community support, equity and capacity building. This was the aim of the international event that took place in mid-February in Berlin in the framework of the ComPARE: Communities promoting anti-racism and equality project. The several-day training programme was prepared by the local Über den Tellerrand organisation in cooperation with NESEHNUTÍ.
Together, we delved into topics that are crucial (not only) for gaining sufficient capacity to work on building newcomer communities. We targeted*effective outreach to target groups, harnessing the power of networking, fostering creativity in community building or the actual implementation of social inclusion strategies. Finally, we worked together to develop real steps and strategies.
In addition to sharing knowledge and acquiring new skills, we see it as crucial to strengthen international cooperation between German and Czech organisations working with newcomers and aiming to create and strengthen communities that will have a positive impact on all involved. The event gave us fresh motivation to continue building open and equal communities and to promote anti-racism, equality and inclusive educational practices within them.
We have successfully taken inspiration from our Berlin partner organisation in the past. It is thanks to their idea that our popular Kulinárna has been running in Brno for a long time, where newcomers meet locals and prepare vegan dishes from different parts of the world together. Community cooking has naturally made its way into this event as well.
