Behind the Bridge + project is a team of experts. Let’s introduce one of them—Dominika Šindelková:
Dominika Šindelková
Storytelling lecturer and storyteller from the Storytelling CZ association. Within the BRIDGE project, she is in charge of working with newcomers and their stories—finding a shared, non-violent way to process them. She wants to support anyone who wishes to tell their story and share as much of her storytelling experience and courage as possible. In September, she is opening a regular storytelling club for young newcomers. For those who want their story to be heard but do not feel confident enough to tell it themselves, they can work solely on the written version, and Dominika will gladly give them a voice. Alternatively, together they can find another form of artistic adaptation for it.
She performs in schools, libraries, at festivals, celebrations, and environmental events. Her repertoire includes stories for both children and adults: mythological and traditional tales, original stories, personal accounts, and narratives inspired by the lives of notable figures, pop culture, or the climate crisis. She travels across the country by public transport and will gladly visit even the most remote village or busiest city.
